Mike McGahan is the President of CLV Group, one of the largest private property management companies in Ottawa. He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of InterRent REIT.
Mike has earned a successful record of buying, selling, financing and managing properties valued at more than $3 billion dollars. He is also a registered Real Estate Agent with the Real Estate Board of Ottawa-Carleton and a registered Mortgage Broker.
Through CLV Group, Mike has developed a reputation as one of the top property managers, havings managed a portfolio of over 10,000 residential units and 500,000 sq. ft. of commercial properties for institutions across Canada.
Prior to leading CLV Group and InterRent REIT, Mike McGahan worked at Regional Realty for five years and then Levinson-Viner Ltd. He then followed this by opening his own real estate management company, Commvesco Group, in 1992.
Mike values his clients and recognizes that trust and integrity are the driving forces behind operating a successful real estate business. His ethics were inspired by many, including the late Ron Kolbus and Jacie Levinson, who touched lives through their commitment to community service. Mike watched his father change lives and it inspired him to do the same.
As a result, he has included community involvement as a pillar in the culture of CLV Group and InterRent REIT. Mike and his teams at CLV Group and InterRent REIT have been personally involved with several local and national charities, including The Boys and Girls Club, Snowsuit Fund, Dragon Boat Fund, Hope Volleyball, the Youth Services Bureau, Habitat for Humanity and Christie Lake Kids to name a few. He and his team have also successfully raised funds for children at the Don McGahan Clubhouse in Ottawa’s east end and the Ron Kolbus Clubhouse in the west end. Mike is also an active board member for the Ottawa Hospital Foundation.
Mike received his degree in Business from the University of Ottawa.
